Redesigning how we learn to live as Earth
This initiative will equip the next generation with the pedagogical tools to become resilient ecological citizens and lead a just and sustainable future. Through a network of global collaborators, we will:
• Review Global Knowledge. Document what Indigenous, professional, and academic communities each know about how humans become resilient ecological citizens.
• Build a Collective Pedagogical Approach. Weave transdisciplinary evidence into an international, just, and decolonised standard for teaching ecocentric maturity and leadership.
• Develop International Evaluation Standards. Co-design performance-based metrics and tools to assess ecocentric learning, wellbeing, and personal growth across ages, contexts, and cultures.
• Launch an Online Evaluation Platform. Provide a digital space where organisations and educators worldwide can assess and benchmark the impact of their educational activities, while contributing to a growing international evidence base.
• Ensure Reciprocal Knowledge Recognition. Guarantee that all contributors retain full ownership and visibility over their knowledge, while benefiting from shaping this global educational transformation.
